Sophia + Adam's Simple Green Watercolor Wedding Suite

botanical wedding suite | A Fabulous Fete

Green, green, green! Deep down, it's always been my favorite color after pink. Over the past few years, I've basically taken ownership of this combo (pink and green)... people even refer to them as "Lauren's colors". If it's possible to select a color palette for life, this is probably mine.

Onto the suite though, the bride to be contacted me looking for a simple green suite. The couple is a pair of botanists, so their love for the color seemed like it should be an essential part in designing their wedding. Since we were going the simple route, we stuck to a touch of botanical elements on the invite and completed the suite in full hand lettering with a mix of script and capital block lettering. I love breaking up the suites like this for couples that want to go with a completely hand lettered design. It helps keep things legible and a bit more playful.

Sophia and Adam decided on the textured "felt"... I always recommend this paper for watercolor designs as it resembles actual watercolor paper while still being an option for digital printing. To complete the project, we went with bright white envelopes addressed in the same green watercolor and a custom watercolor liner.
