Decor Ideas for Hosting a Halloween Gathering
There aren’t many holidays I will buy decor specifically for. Actually, there is literally only one, Christmas. And even then, it’s more like sentimental items I will invest in (ornaments, stockings, etc.). Otherwise I am a huge believer in curating what you have to feel like specific holiday decor. There is so much you can do by simply changing up your color palette or adding in some inexpensive fresh and seasonal items.
Halloween is a great example. It’s honestly one of my least favorite reasons to decorate. I don’t like spiders, cobwebs or skeletons so it doesn’t leave me a lot of work with. Unless we’re having a party specifically for the occasion, I’m not doing anything for it.
This year however, we will be hosting houseguests over the Halloween weekend. So I thought, it would be fun to do a little cocktail hour without going to heavy into themed decor. I rounded up a few Amazon finds that would work for a halloween fete but also look great in your home long after October 31st has passed (minus the crows and cobwebs… unless you’re into that sort of decor year round haha).
