a fall game night dinner party // entertaining at home
now that parties are starting to move indoors, i'm always looking for fun things to do inside that don't involve sitting on the couch. game nights are always fun but i was looking for a way to fancy it up a bit. so i partnered with mariposa to host my version of a game night dinner party with a few friends!
i decided to make something basic that we could spice up with a little buffet of add-ons. so i mixed up some chili and set out plenty of bread, onions, jalapeños, cilantro, limes and a variety of cheese.
have quickly become by favorite. they're great for cheese or any appetizer. the wood popped out which was awesome for getting the table set before hand and placing the wood board in place once guests arrived.
i added candlelight and a few simple bunches of hydrangea throughout the table.
and i can't believe i've never had a
. pretty necessary for cold white wine on a table with cards!
all of these pieces made the perfect setting for a gorgeous game night with friends. i can already tell they are going to be those versatile items that will work with all of our holiday parties. what types of parties are you guys hosting now that the cooler months are here?
