succulent spring wreath // diy

who says wreaths are just for christmas? in addition to all of the pretty little flowers you will be updating your yard with this season, they are the perfect way to spruce up your front door and make it a bit more welcoming. i would love to have a wreath with fresh flowers or plants… but that just isn't practical (i can barely remember to water the plants inside the house), so i made this one with faux succulents.

start with a wreath base, rope, faux succulents or flowers and a glue gun.

glue down the ends of 3 pieces of pre-cut rope. once that has dried start braiding.
continue braiding and glueing down every few inches.

once you have gotten back to where you started, trim, and glue down the ends. don't worry too much about how this looks, this is where you will start glueing down the succulents or flowers.
start with your largest pieces or main flowers that you want to be the center of the arrangement, then fill in with smaller branches until you get a look you love.

once you are finished you can add a hook, string, or however you plan on hanging in your home. now, sit down, mix up a cocktail, admire your work and welcome spring.
