Wine + Flower Pairing Inspiration | No. 1

There are plenty of ways that we get inspired every day. I felt like my flower inspiration was heavily influenced by what was easiest to grab and arrange quickly. So Naomi from Beautiful Savage Flowers and I teamed up to tackle a fun challenge. We wanted to create and style vignettes inspired by some of our favorite wines. I think it would be such a fun idea if you were doing a pairing, a tasting, or if you had a special wine selected for a dinner party. We split our pairings up into 3 shoots. I'm super excited to finally share this first one with you guys!

A note from Naomi on her flower choices: We used pink Peonies, pink Sweet Peas, green Viburnum, white Wax Flower, and Maiden Hair Fern. Peonies and champagne just go together, no other explanation needed. The white Wax Flower looked like the bubbles, the Maiden Hair Fern is soft and delicate, the pink Sweet Pea flowers because they are sweet, all just like champagne.  And finally, the green Viburnum because sometimes Champagne is best when paired with something that compliments it like fresh juice.  Pink all by itself is pretty amazing, but add some green and it's even better.

I styled the pairing with traditional champagne coupes, delicate pink linens and white accents to keep the overall palette clean, neutral and tonal. This would all make the perfect setting for a bubbly bar... if you needed a reason for champs + flowers;)

Hope this inspires you for your own spring celebrations! We'll share the next two soon!
