The Ace Hotel, Palm Springs | A Fabulous Fete

It's no secret we love a quick getaway to Palm Springs. But right now is the absolute best time. It's still a little warm but you can actually enjoy the restaurants and shopping without passing out from the heat. This means getting to explore more + getting out of that bathing suit and into something cute.

During our last trip there, I packed one of my favorite fall colors... this shade of rust... or brick, or pumpkin, or whatever you want to call it. While this dress is no longer in stores (I tried and tried, it's nowhere to be found!), there are loads of new items in this seasonal color. It's a fun update to the usual wine/burgundy shades found everywhere and blends perfectly with my neutral wardrobe.

For this night out of appetizers and wine at one of my (new) favorite spots, Mr. Lyons, I added some nude heels and simple jewelry. That was one of my favorite parts about this flowy dress, it's easily dressed up at night, down for shopping + lunch, and layers perfectly with my favorite sweaters.

The Ace also has one of the best backdrops for sharing this color palette. Totally not planned... but those wood accents on white? Amazing.

Here are a few more of my (available!) rust picks. What color are you wearing for Fall?
