i ran into a dilemma the weekend we headed out to the desert. i forgot oj for mimosas. gasp! so i challenged myself to create something with what we had in the fridge. this cocktail will definitely stay one of my weekend staples from now on. it feels a bit healthier than usual which is never a bad thing!
you'll need champagne/sparkling wine, kombucha (this was the trilogy flavor by synergy) and an orange.
start by pouring a few oz. of kombucha. top with champagne. squeeze half of an orange in the glass and top off (if there is room left) with a little more champagne. garnish with an orange slice and enjoy.
and if you ask me, this would make the perfect drink for a little sunday breakfast in bed!
