Cucumber Chili Margarita || Cocktails

More and more, I'm scanning the menus at local restaurants for items with a little spice. Especially the cocktail menus. A fruity cocktail with a kick makes the sweet ingredients less overwhelming. I'm experimenting with infusing my own ingredients with peppers, but in the meantime, I've been using this cucumber chili tequila. This margarita was made several times over the past weekend and received 5 stars from everyone that tried it.

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz. Cucumber Chili Sauza Tequila
  • Juice of 1 Lime
  • Juice of 1/2 of a Lemon
  • 1/4 oz. Agave Nectar
  • 1 oz. Triple Sec
  • 5 slices of cucumber
  • Peppers for garnish

Mixing Instructions

  1. Add tequila and 3 cucumbers to a shaker, muddle.
  2. Top with all other ingredients plus a few cubes of ice, shake.
  3. Strain into your glass over new ice, float 2 cucumber slices and a pepper to finish.
